Venture Fellows
Our annual Venture Fellowship brings together high-potential college students from a diverse array of backgrounds – allowing us to create a talent pipeline for the EduLab Capital Partners team and to open the doors to venture for an underrepresented cohort of talent. In addition, we discuss ideas percolating in the top academic communities across the U.S., have an ear to the ground for the student perspective – an important end user in higher education, and build our deals pipeline from college and university hotbeds of innovation.

Venture Fellowship Description
Position
Venture Fellows – We are looking for undergraduate and graduate student fellows in the university community. This is an educational experience designed to increase your understanding of the venture capital and education technology industries, which we hope will complement your current university program. We recognize that it’s not just talent coming out of your community. It’s ideas, research, innovation, and businesses, and we want you to help us identify promising startups and share your perspective.
Essential Responsibilities
- Attend weekly meetings from mid-January through May with ECP team members to learn about venture capital and EdTech, and share your student experience
- Complete and deliver a capstone project that includes research, synthesis, and a final presentation
- Source early-stage startups and judges for the pitch competition
- Opportunities to sit in on company pitches, internal meetings, and investment committees
Estimated time commitment of 2-4 hours per week

EduLab Capital Partners’ Student Fellowship Program
EduLab Capital Partners identifies, invests in, and builds impactful companies. We are company builders and impact makers, and we’re looking to grow our roster of talent. Our Student Fellows will have an inside look at an international VC platform. Our previous Venture Fellows have come from Harvard Business School, Yale University, Stanford University, Williams College, Boston College, University of Chicago, University of Texas, and Cornell University. Since graduating from our program, our Venture Fellows have gone on to careers in organizations such as Morgan Stanley, Alpine Investors, Bain Capital, and Blue Cloud Ventures. The program is ideally suited for second & third-year undergraduates or graduate students interested in learning more about venture capital (learn about previous fellows and their experience here).
Compensation
We see the primary benefit of this program as the educational experience and access it will provide.
